Deyan Sudjic

Kateřina Eklová

Kateřina is an expert in sustainability of buildings. She co-founded Rethink Architecture which inspires and educates architects and real estate developers to create sustainable buildings and cities. She is a researcher in building sustainability and a teacher at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague. She also teaches at ARCHIP architecture school. She worked in the development of offices, residential housing and commercial centres for international real estate companies. Her vision is to transform the construction industry into a sustainable one which contributes to the environment and people.

Bernhard Steger

Bernhard Steger has served as an advisor to the Deputy Mayor since 2012 on urban development, transportation, climate protection, energy planning, and civic participation. Under his leadership, his department has played a key role in making Vienna one of the most liveable cities in the world. He is dedicated to fostering a green, social, and innovative city, contributing to projects like affordable housing initiatives that ensure sustainable urban development.

Eszter Radnóczy

Eszter Radnóczy is the founder and lead designer of este’r partners, a studio specializing in interior design and architecture since 2005. With degrees in finance and economics from Università Bocconi and Corvinus University of Budapest, along with studies in interior design at Interior Design Institute Milan, Eszter focuses on creating personalized, concept-driven designs for hotels, restaurants, and residences, reflecting the unique identity of each client.

Robert Konieczny

Britta Jürgens is a Berlin-based architect and co-founder of Deadline Architects, which she founded in 1993 with Matthew Griffin. Zoltán Erő

Zoltán Erő, the Chief Architect of Budapest Municipality and recipient of the Ybl Prize, is renowned for his work in urban planning and historic preservation. He led the architectural design of Budapest Metro Line 4 and is a founder of Palatium Studio Ltd.

Leoš Anderle

Leoš Anderle is the CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of Sekyra Group, a leading development company. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at CTU in Prague, specializing in building construction. He began his career in 1996 at Metrostav’s development division. Anderle joined Sekyra Group in 2001, initially as Director of the newly established commercial development division. With over two decades of experience, he plays a key role in shaping the company’s major projects and strategic direction.

Barbara Gollackner

Barbara Gollackner is an Austrian designer based in Salzburg, specializing in sustainable design. She founded her studio in 2018, creating projects like Wasteware, a tableware collection made from food waste. Barbara’s work merges traditional craftsmanship with a commitment to environmental responsibility. She is also a board member of Initiative Architektur Salzburg and lectures at Universität Mozarteum.

Marcin Szczelina

Marcin Szczelina is an architecture critic and curator, founder of Architecture Snob, and an expert for the European Mies van der Rohe Award since 2014. He has curated notable exhibitions and won the Property Design Awards 2017 for his contributions to Polish architecture.

Marta Sękulska-Wrońska

Marta Sękulska-Wrońska is a Polish architect and partner at WXCA, a prominent architecture studio in Warsaw. She has co-authored major projects such as the Polish Pavilion at Expo 2020 and the Warsaw Citadel Museum Complex. Specializing in sustainable public spaces and urban design, her work emphasizes the integration of natural and social contexts. Marta has also served as President of the Warsaw Branch of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP).

Jaromír Hainc

Jaromír Hainc is an architect, urban planner, and lecturer at the Czech Technical University (CTU). He holds a PhD in urbanism and spatial planning and has a background in international studies, including a stay at TU Delft. Since 2012, he has worked at the Prague Institute of Planning and Development (IPR), co-authoring Prague’s Metropolitan Plan and currently serving as the Director of the Urban Development Section. Hainc has collaborated on various international urban development projects and plays an active role in professional organizations like EUROCITIES and UNESCO.

Dávid Smiló

Dávid Smiló is an architect and lecturer at Metropolitan University Budapest. He co-founded the architecture studio Paradigma Ariadné, known for its theory-driven and imaginative design approach. Smiló co-curated the Hungarian Pavilion at the 2021 Venice Biennale of Architecture, and Paradigma Ariadné’s work has been featured in exhibitions worldwide and publications like The Architectural Review and Domus.

Robert Pludra

Robert Pludra is an industrial designer with over 13 years of experience, active primarily in Poland and Switzerland. He specializes in product design, focusing on social utility, minimalist form, and sustainability. As the founder of RPDS studio, he has worked on equipment, devices, furniture, and scientific exhibits. He has also served as Head of the Design Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. His work has been recognized internationally, including winning the Monocle Design Award in 2023. He is deeply involved in social design and multidisciplinary research projects.
